- Essential — online play and a few free games each month only.
- Extra — mid plan; everything above plus a library of up to 400 free games.
- Deluxe — the most complete plan; adds 2–5 hour trial access to new games and a catalog of classic games.
Playing most games bought on disc or downloaded from the PlayStation Store online requires a PlayStation Plus subscription plan.
Most free-to-play games such as Fortnite, Apex Legends and Call of Duty Warzone do not require a subscription.
To downgrade your subscription plan:
- On PS4 or PS5: Account Settings → Manage Subscriptions
- On the website: sign in to your PlayStation Network account and go to Manage Subscriptions
The downgrade takes effect after the current paid period ends.
If you have no active membership: a PlayStation Plus voucher gives you Essential access for the period stated on the voucher. A PlayStation Now voucher gives Deluxe for a period equal to the voucher’s monetary value.
If you are an existing member: the voucher converts to a period equal to its value on your current plan.
The games available to PlayStation Plus members are updated every month across all three tiers.
